Islamic State (IS) Amaq Video Production Rate Up 18% in 2020, Down 89% from Peak
Islamic State's (IS) Amaq News video production rate has moved up 18% in 2020 from 2019 to one video every 3.8 days. It is on track to tie the quarterly production number of 24 that it hit in Q4 of 2019. This is the highest quarterly number reached since Q4 of 2018.
If Q4 2020 comes in at 24 or slightly below, its quarterly numbers would fit within the 17-24 release range every quarter has fallen in since the beginning of 2019. Anything above 24 would represent the first quarterly increase in more than a year.
